When Cindy Conway and Michael Donnelly visited the U.P., they made the rounds. Today they take us to Sand Point Beach near Munising, along with several falls in that same area.
The Munising Falls, on Munising Creek is the first one pictured here and it looks like there isn't too much water running this time of year. I'm guessing that the recent rains have changed that for a bit, though. Then they stopped at Miners Falls, also in the Munising area. The waterfall there seems to have a little more water cascading over, due to being part of the Miners River system.
Cindy and Michael's last stop here today was near Fayette, looking out at Lake Michigan. We sure are blessed here in the U.P., to be surrounded by such beautiful fresh water lakes.

How I wish we would have made it there this summer. Hopefully we will be there next summer. Such a beautiful area with so very much to see. Thanks for sharing these with us. They're awesome!

Ed Abbey is speaking here again: The very poor are strictly materialistic. It takes money to be a mystic.

Waterfalls and sandy beaches. Two of Mother Nature's finest offerings. Great adventure you were on, thanks for sharing.

This reminds me of the old joke....... in Michigan going coast to coast means going from Port Sanilac to Muskegon! In this case, it's going from Munising to Fayette! A great trip either way!

Nice pix and great review...2008 is precious. Do we emulate ducks or do they emulate us?
