It was my privilege this morning to watch the sunrise at Keweenaw Mountain Lodge. I may have used this sometime in the last 17 years as a favorite Shoebox Memory of mine... my wife Edie and our son Jonathan, in front of the Lodge, back in 1999. It may have been the first time he appeared on the Pasty Cam, after having taken most of the daily pictures in those early years. The aerial clip is from "Drone UP North", beginning right above the spot where Edie and Jon were standing. It was filmed last Fall.
It will be Fall before we know it. This summer has just rushed past, and it won't be long until we start shipping pasties again! By the way, if you know of any available pasty bakers in the Calumet area, we are looking to expand out kitchen staff, and would welcome any referrals for work at Pasty Central.
That photo is precious, and the aerial clip technology is amazing. Even in full screen, the detail created by the camera is excellent. I was trying to figure out how the operator knew where the drone was going, then I realized that he must be one of the people standing on Brockway. Thanks for posting...and the review is nice, too.

By the way, on his Facebook page "Drone UP North" corrects the note about "Timber Ridge" to say "Keweenaw Mountain Lodge to Brockway", he just couldn't find a way to edit the title on the uploaded video. It is amazing that he was able to control the drone all the way from up there on the Mountain Drive.

When our loved ones have gone on before us, it's the loving memories that keep us going.
