When it comes to growing corn, it looks like Patty Rheault and her family have a green thumb. But wait…if you look closely at those first three photos, it looks like something else is growing in the corn field. I see children...Patty calls them "Children of the Corn". What a lucky Grandma that she can just grow kids in her corn patch and pretty cute ones at that!
The remaining photos give us a look around the rest of the garden, which looks to be growing quite lush and green. There is plenty of TLC going on in this garden, you can plainly see that. Lots of hard work planting, weeding and as you can see in Patty's last photo, harvesting, too. Reaping the benefits of all that labor has begun. YUM!!

Sweet corn season is a favorite and eating peas right out of the garden is a good time. There has been field corn here in Eastern Iowa that is topping 14 ft. tall.

Those corn fields are amazing! The stalks are tall enough to make a maze.
So what are those kids doing in there?
'Stalking' each other through the 'maize', of course!
