There's a fascinating conversation underway about Quincy Mine Shaft House, and the prospect of having the American Flag waving again, high atop this Copper Country icon. Thanks to Mary Schwenk Chopp for the concept, and inspiring so many enthusiastic supporters of the idea.
A great big thank you to all who voted for Pasty Central this week in the USA TODAY Reader's Choice Awards. When the competition started last week, Pasty Central was #8 out of 20. Within 2 days of the links appearing on pasty.com and pasty.net, Pasty Central reached number 1, and is now in a close battle with Muldoon's of Munising for the top spot. You can vote once a day, now through June 6. Thank you for your support!
Interesting video, thanks for the tour.

Seems like we have seen that video before and every time you pan down i get dizzy! Spectacular view! How do you get to the upper level? Are there stairs or ladders? Can't imagine there being some sort of lift still there.
