In the chill of the early morning, Sharon Bodenus sits, waiting for the sun to rise and start a brand new day. She turned her camera on the still darkened portion of the sky over Marquette, to capture the moon overhead, with the horizon just beginning to glow. Then she aimed her lens over towards the Marquette Lighthouse to watch the sky turn bright with the rising sun.
But wait... these beautiful captures are just the beginning. Sharon patiently waited there, recording as morning breaks over Marquette Harbor. Click on the video to sit right there with Sharon (minus the chilly temperatures) and watch the sun rise and hear the sounds of the birds as they welcome the new day.

That early morning moon is something special. Thanks, Sharon for patiently waiting to capture dawn's early light and sharing it with us.
