Recently the warming temperatures caused several days of limited visibility, with the snow going directly to a steamy shroud of fog. I happened to capture the bottom frame from MTU's webcam that now appears on the Bridge Cam page. The top view is a closer isolation of the Smelter, which we've featured several times over the years. One of my favorites was snapped by Don deYampert one Fall (the middle photo).

Great pictures!! Love them all. Our heat wave is supposed to come to an end this week. I'll miss it, but the reality is that it's March.

All beautiful pictures, but Don's is an all-time favorite of mine! At the rate we're going the Laurium glacier will be gone by Mother's Day!

I do love to see pictures of the fog. One can speculate a lot while looking at them. The middle picture is another picture that would make a good picture puzzle.
