E. Neil Harri spends quite a bit of his time with his head in the clouds, but it's a beautiful spring day without any cumulus in the photos he shares with us today. Neil was flying over the town of Eagle Harbor (where he calls home) and gives us a look at the ice still in the Harbor there, along with many of the homes in town. If you have a summer home there, Neil's photos are your chance to see how it looks in the winter months while you're away.
With the rain and warmer temps the past couple days, I'm betting the snow cover and ice has drastically melted from these shots only a couple days old. Neil figures this is the last of winter in the Harbor and says he's going to miss it. If he's right, we'll be enjoying an early spring. I'm OK with that!

Neil always comes through with his amazing pictures from his plane! The white snow against the blue of Lake Superior is so beautiful!

What terrific pictures from Neil, as always. I so enjoy Eagle Harbor from any view. It's probably my favorite town in the Keweenaw. I just love it. Thanks, Neil!

Love Neil's shots of Eagle Harbor. Love the review too--especially 1998, 2000, 2004 and 2012.

Great pics Mr. Harri, of a road I've been down more than once. I like how the red Lighthouse stands out.

Great aerial shots of one of my favorite places. The Eagle Harbor Inn is one of my favorite places to eat on our Keweenaw Tip road tour. Sure looks nice with the lake blue, not white!!

Oh what beautiful pics. I so enjoy the aerial pics. They give a true perspective of the layout of the towns and the enormity of Lake Superior.

Beautiful!! It's amazing how little the lake had frozen this winter. Not much to melt this spring.
