Here we are at the end of another month. It is our long standing tradition, to pause on the last day and remember those that have gone on before us. Today we recall these folks:

Grandpa H.L. Johnson left for eternal life Feb.
1972. I only knew him for 15 1/2 years. Not nearly
long enough.

As Janie, i'm remembering my Grandpa Johnson, who left us on February 23, 1965, just before my 10th birthday. The funeral was on a brutally cold, snowy day and the hearse with the family got stuck in a snow bank on the way back from the cemetery. He was a wonderful grandpa and we pray he is at rest.

I knew Brenda and always liked her. She was always
such a sweet person. Condolences to her family.

And my hubby and I had the pleasure of meeting
George, Kosk's dad. He was such a nice man. Was
easy to tell why Kosk is such a good person.
Condolences to his family, as well as to the others
who have lost loved ones this month.

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephews “The Chief” Churchill and Charlie Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto. like that anymore".....She was one Class Act. Love

Remembering Mom, Janet Dube, who passed just over
four years ago. Beloved Mom, Grandmom, sister, aunt
and friend. You are in the hearts of many forever.
Miss You

Brenda was a dear classmate and friend back in the
day.I have many fond memories of times with this kind
and sweet person.Beautiful and peaceful photo.

My Aunt Pearl(Johnson) Hawkins was born on this day
Feb. 29 1916 in Ripley, grew up in Dollar Bay died
2004, thinking of her today

In memory of my Aunt (also godmother) Martha Keating, who died earlier this month.

My father had two funerals--one in the U.P. and one in the L.P.
Both places were so important in his life. He was born and died in
the U.P., with summers spent at camp making wood, picking
blueberries and trout fishing. Downstate, he taught biology,
coached basketball, helped to found the Finnish Center, wrote
books about his experiences in WWII and helped adults and children
to remember why it was important to fight WWII, leave the Earth
safe for future generations and keep the faith. I am proud of my
father and the many people who helped make his last years so
special. I am so glad that some of my Pasty Cam family had a
chance to meet him--especially Deb and Ron, Mary Drew and Uncle
Chuck. What a reunion it must be for Rudy and George in eternity.
