Over the weekend, we had perfect snowshoeing weather, so we bundled UP and headed out for a snowshoe adventure in the woods. What a beautiful winter wonderland we found out there! The boys had a great time using their poles to knock the snow off the trees overhead, trying hard to get the avalanche to go down Grandma's neck. Of course you know they succeeded at least once, right? But it was a bittersweet victory for them, since several dumps later it was down their own necks. And no, Grandma hadn't retaliated, it was just karma for trying so hard to get Grandma.

What an absolutely perfect day, fresh winter air, exercise that didn't feel like a workout and the laughter of those I love... truly priceless.

you won't see this but I'm putting it on here
anyway just so it's recorded. I think it's
necessary! It is a great shot and I'm glad you
were able to make it out. Hopefully in the
upcoming years I'll be able to do that myself. My
transfer request is in and now it's a waiting
game. Maybe next winter...
