Christmas Day-What'sUP December 27 - 08:55 pm

Merry Christmas from our homes to yours!
When I spotted today's Christmas tree ornament from Philip Odum, I knew it would be the perfect way to express our holiday wishes to each and every one of our daily visitors. The scene depicted could have been captured anywhere in the U.P. and is looking rather wintry there on Phil's tree.

Our second photographer today is Peter Vorhes who took advantage of our unusual December weather and headed out for a bike ride around Calumet Lake just in time to capture the sun going down in a blaze of pinkish glory. Another great shot as a Christmas gift for you, our loyal visitors, to say thank you for your continued interest day after day.

It has certainly been an unusual December weather-wise here in the Keweenaw and across the U.P. this year. We are having a white Christmas in the Copper Country, but just barely, since we've had rain instead of snow in the past few days. For some that's a good thing, others not so much, but no matter the weather, we wish you all Christmas blessings and joy!
