A couple years back when we looked at the picture of the gas prices we thought "ah, the good old days!" And now many times the prices have dropped well below the ones shown (with maybe a bump for the holiday of course!) Something else to be thankful for!

I saw $1.79 this morning and at that price, I feel like driving around all day just so I can fill up my tank. :-)

Ours is down to $1.63 and has been below $1.70 for quite some time. Earlier in the week, I was traveling SW of Houston and saw $1.49 and thought wow, that is cheap..... until I returned in the afternoon and it had dropped to $1.39!!!

$1.39?!!!! Wow ~ what are you doing with all your extra $$$ these days!!

Since I don't drive anymore, and my daughter rarely purchases gas when I'm out with her, I have no idea what the price is around here.
