As soon as the snow arrives, the kids are anxious to get outside and play in it. One of the perks of being a grandparent is that you have the perfect excuse to go out and play in the snow like a kid again. That's just what Judy Byykkonen and her granddaughter did.
Judy's granddaughter was determined to do some sledding, but I think she was having some trouble finding a sledding hill this early on. Then Grandma got on the sled and it was time for her granddaughter to try to pull her around for a change.
I don't think I've ever seen a dolphin here in the Copper Country before and especially one you can ride down a hill in the winter. I have to admit, that does look like it might be pretty fun to ride. Judy's granddaughter is quite innovative in her outdoor winter play with first the dolphin ride and then a snowy trampoline performance, too! The exuberance of children is catchy…we should all get outdoors and play like a child at times!

If a big smile is a measure of how much fun she is having then that little lady is having a lot of it with Gramma.

Fun picks...and I wonder if she sat on that dolphin on porpoise, or just for the halibut.

Looks like so much fun. Our house sits on a hill just big enough for kids to enjoy sledding on. In fact, I have to admit to going sledding with them a time or two.
