In case you missed today's Pasty Central Day in History, this is a more accurate replica of the Chevy Styline Station Wagon that became the first car to cross the Mackinac Bridge on this day in 1957. Will have more to say about it tomorrow...

crossing on the fairy. I love that bridge!!

Great car! The actual one is in the Van Andel Museum in Grand
Rapids. It has a very cool history.

The SUV's of today are just gussied up station wagons of yesterday. I like the yellow one parked next to the wagon also.

Deb: Do you think auto correct would correct me if I said the yellow car is a 57 Chevy and it actually is a 56 Chevy? I'm not sure which one it is.
