Da Brudders Adventures take them to all the special places around the Keweenaw, from a perspective like we've never seen before. Last week they visited Brockway Mountain and came back with these spectacular views. We'll have more to say about this latest Facebook sensation later...

Sorry we didn't make it back in time to post our follow-up photos from last week's Shoebox Memory about Atlas Powder. Join us again here next Sunday, at the same place on your Internet dial.

Have a good week :o)

Beautiful pictures!
Can anyone tell me if that neat little souvenir shop is still up there? Or did it move?

By Eagle Harbor Greta (Greta) on Monday, October 19, 2015 - 06:26 pm:

Beautiful photos! The little shop called the Skytop Inn on the top
of Brockway Mountain was taken down a couple of years ago.
Eagle Harbor Township now owns this property on the west
side.

That looks like a very precarious place to stand with yer camera drone's remote control box!

Oh, by the way, owners who fly drones in "public airspace"¹ will soon have to register their "unmanned aerial vehicles" with the FAA. (Oh ye gods, more gubmint bureaucracy!)

(¹ "Public airspace"? Oh, really? How much "private airspace" is there? And where'zat?)

By Renee in AL (Renee) on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 - 01:50 am:

Thanks for the answer Greta. Sad to hear that Skytop Inn isn't there any more. :-( It was a cute little shop with a lot of neat stuff.

FRN nash...if a yard is fenced off...no looking in windows and so on. basically if you can see it from the road it is public space.
