Krista Poirier was babysitting the two little cuties in today's photos and since it was a sunny fall day, she took them outside to check out the turning colors. The girls were warm enough with just long sleeves, but tuques (pronounced chooks) were still in order to make sure they stayed warm during their fall picnic, too. How fun to see these adorable kids enjoying the outdoors without a care in the world.
While out and about in the Copper Country sunshine, Krista was also able to snap a few shots of the trees above, showing the leaves changing from summer to fall colors. Her last two pictures are nice close-ups of several leaf groups nearer to the ground. They give you a better look at the beautiful hues. I love this time of year... it's so colorful, there are no bugs and the temperatures are just right, not too hot and not too cold. Sure wish it lasted for six months, instead of just two!

Aw, what sweet little girls! The 4th photo reminds me of my favorite childhood poem, "October's Bright Blue Weather". Thanks, Krista, for these shots of Autumn.

How precious is that...great pix! One of the few things left in this world to make me smile, is the innocence on a child's face.

73° here in Cornell today. Mimi and I went to Pinecrest in Powers after church to visit some friends we know residing there. Was a nice day for it. Might have to hang onto your hat, supposed to get cooler.
