Coming from all over the Upper Midwest, this Model A club did some fall color cruising around the Keweenaw. In Eric Stewart's photos here today, the old time cars are gathered at the Jam Pot in Eagle Harbor.
What a great variety of shapes and colors in these restored vehicles. The folks driving them saw a bit of color in the leaves, but their cars added color to the Keweenaw, too. When a cavalcade of old cars like this makes it's way around the area, they definitely get noticed. I spotted these same cars when they were driving on M-26. I gave them a "thumbs-up" as they passed by and received several waves and even a great sounding "a-ooo-ga" blast from one of them.
What a great way to get out there at a slower pace, enjoying the scenery you're passing by.

A fine looking group of automobiles on parade. Now it's back to the warm garage for winter. Thanks for sharing.

My Dad liked Model A(s) for driving back in the bush because they had a high clearance...
