Rough day here in Eagle River, hot, uncomfortable, remembered I forgot to do a shoebox memory this morning (appear to be losing mine).

Our daughter and her girls spent most of the last week with us, and that's them in the top photo. The second is a place I would have liked to visit today, 10 Foot, up the River from here toward Phoenix. One from the archives by Michelle Jeffery.

Our granddaughters had a great visit together, as cousins often do during Summer vacation. Lots of smiles here in the U.P.

Charlie, every day when I turn on my computer and there's another new photo and pages to look at (Pasty.com is my home page, although I'm having to wrestle with Windows 10 to make that happen) I am amazed and delighted that you have never failed to post a new picture. I'd be willing to bet you could be in Guinness's Book of World Records! Thank you!

It's easy to get distracted when the grandchildren are around, Charlie! Thanks for sharing them with us. That last photo surely looks like a "sandwich hug" to me! :-)

Those granddaughters definitely are not babies
anymore. Where did the time go? I hope they had
a wonderful time swimming in and enjoying the
shores of, Lake Superior. That second picture
looks like fun also.

Thank you, Charlie, for all of your hard work that
is appreciated by so many. I especially love the
top photo with the color of the sky reflecting on
the lake, but all of them are great. I am so
looking forward to our trip to the Keweenaw in less
than a month now.

Those pictures of your grandchildren , Charlie and Edie, are
priceless . They remind me of days wading into the lake with
my sisters.
