Storm clouds in 2003 are awesome!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 - 08:14 am:

I'm with Shirley on the storm cloud and I love the
kitty sitting in the bird feeder. That's too
cute! Having FINALLY seen Bond Falls, 2000 looks
to be just that. And I love the picture from last
year, too!!!!

Have a great Tuesday, everybody!

LOL! Thanks for pointing out the kitty, Deb, I hadn't noticed that before. :D

I could tell the big lake was warm today. :)

"The data from the Great Lakes Environmental Research Center covers lake temperatures from Sunday and July 5, 2014. Lake Superior has the biggest difference in average surface water temperature, up 3.5 degrees this year to 48 degrees. Temperatures for Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are roughly 3 degrees higher on the surface than last year."
Might be a mild winter, which is only 167 days away. Enjoy summer while you can.
Nice pictures.

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 - 08:14 pm:

If anything, it'll be a worse winter if surface temperatures are higher; the lake won't freeze as quickly, leaving it wide open for lake effect.
