The months just seem to be flying by so quickly, similar to how we often feel about the friends and loved ones that pass on before us and are gone too soon. We wish we could slow time down for awhile. Of course we can't do that, but here on the Pasty Cam, we do at least pause at the end of each month to quiet ourselves with a beautiful photo and remember those that have left us too soon. Today we remember:

Remembering my Dad, Elmer (Bud) Haralson, LLHHS class of 1940. We buried him 5 years ago this month, but I still think of him every day.

Thinking of both my Mom and Grandma who left us in July a few years apart.

Sending thoughts and prayers to UC and Norma at the passing of their brother. Peace and comfort to you both.

My deepest condolences to Chuck and Norma.

Remembering so many family members who passed away
and my cat, Tippy, who died 3 years ago this
month. We still miss him. He was the best cat
ever!

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephews “The Chief” Churchill and Charlie Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto. We love and miss you all so much.

Remembering my Dad, Art Wickstrom, grocer, butcher, weightlifter, fisherman, berry-picker, snow-shoer, skier, storyteller, and most of all fun, loving, and caring daddy, who's last job before retirement was cooking and baking in the kitchens of great lakes ore boats. Passed away in his 101st year, July 9, 2012. All us kids love you and miss you!

Remembering my Mama (1989), my Daddy (1993), my sister, Marjorie (2010), my wonderful husband, Frank (2011), my sweet son-in-law, Ernie (2015), and a fine brother-in-law, Joe (2015). You all are always in my heart and thoughts!

And like Deb, I'm also remembering my precious kitty 'Tippy' (7/25/14).
