I sure chuckled when I saw the first three photos here today. Judy Byykkonen had titled them: "Mandy is licking her chops. She has "beared" a chippy." She looks like she's patiently waiting for the chipmunk to make a dash for it, right? Well, Mandy only waited so long and then she toppled the carved wooden bear off the stump it was sitting on, in the hopes of being quicker than the chippy. Judy came to the rescue though and made sure Mr. Chippy escaped, unscathed. I'm guessing Mandy wasn't too impressed with her human's intervention on that one. ;-)
The bottom photo is what greets Judy every day at her house. And yes, that's five if you're counting, but actually one is missing. Judy actually has five four-legged friends, but at the moment is dog-sitting for her son, so there are six in the house. These are some lucky pups to be able to live here UP North with plenty of room to run and play and a human that loves to take them out for walks and exercise in the woods.
In case you're wondering who's who in the photo... from left to right, starting at the top: Giselle, Pearl, Mandy Minnie, and the little white fluff girl on the bottom is either Peanut or Butter, I'm not sure which one. The fluff girls joined the home after their owner, a dear friend of Judy's passed away. Needless to say, she has quite the guard dog patrol there.

Judy's dogs always give me a smile. I don't know how she does it, but bless her heart!!
