Jeremy Rowe, photographer at Keweenaw Night Sky, was heading for bed a few nights ago and decided he would check to see if there was any action in the night sky first. The top two shots are what he found, so I for one, am glad he forced himself to get out there and take a few photos of the Aurora Borealis, especially with my favorite flower, Lilacs, in the foreground.
His third photo was snapped on a different night, taken in Eagle River, with the Northern Lights reflecting in the river as it flows to meet Lake Superior there. So much beauty in the midst of the night!
