Father's Day-What'sUP June 22 - 04:38 pm

Edie's Dad has been on her mind all day. (That's him with her in the top photo some 60 years ago). He went into the hospital last night with signs of congestive heart failure, and we've been following his progress in the cardiovascular unit of the hospital downstate. She joked with him about doing anything just to get more attention. Hopefully his condition will stabilize and we'll be able to visit (in a non-hospital setting) in August.

The other two pictures are a couple of favorites from the Pasty Cam Archives). Tim Colburn in a 2002 Shoebox Memory of his dad quite a few years earlier, and a 2010 Father's Day memory from Patricia Forgrave on the shore at Sunset Bay Campground. Quite a sunset it was.

Sorry again for a delayed daily entry in this journal of life in the U.P. Hope it was a good Father's Day for yours.

Thought that looked like Edie in the first picture. Sweet photo! I love to see pics of Dads with their little tykes. Those are such busy times, that we often don't take time to snap photos of our little ones with their Daddy. Sending prayers for Edie's Dad.
