Sally Beaudette's grandsons were pretty excited when it came to moving day…for their chickens that is. Here they are sitting in the new chicken coup, checking out whether it's good enough for their birds. After getting everything ready, it was time to bring the chickens to their new home. How funny that they just stayed in that container box when they could have easily jumped right out.

Once they were out of confinement, they explored around their new coup, checking things out, until finally the boys picked them up, gave them a roll for a snack and then put them in side their new home so they knew where to go. Sally said they really seemed to like their new coup, so much more room than the smaller confined area they needed as younger chicks. What a fun project for the boys to be involved in, caring for and providing shelter for these birds. I bet they'll be excited when they get to collect the first eggs once the hens start laying!
