Another end of month memorial, among whom we remember: Adeline Barrette Maxwell Haapala Shirley Hauring Paula Havens Esther Johns Cynthia "Cookie" Klein Frank Morin Beverly Olli Catherine "Kutch" Bonanni David Riutta Servicemen and women who have given their all A couple notes about the first and last names on the list... Marie Anderson passed away toward the end of April, and her son Richard captured today's Lake Superior Sunset in her honor. (Thanks for sharing it with us Richard, and we pass along our condolences on the loss of your mother). The final name is one that you may recognize in regard to previous Shoebox Memories about the legendary Heikki Lunta. David Riutta was the creator of that light-hearted episode back in the 70's which brought national attention to the U.P.
