Marilynn Bachorick sent in today's photos with a note letting me know where they were taken in the Munising area. She did such a good job, I decided to take a break from writing the notes today and let her take over:

"It’s been a long time coming, but it is spring in Munising. The ice is finally off the Lake—no more walking across to Grand Island. The trillium and daffodils are in bloom. Beautiful Whitefish Falls are running high. The general store in Rumley, which had been closed for a long time, has new owners and is open for business. The beach at AuTrain is ready for romping, and best of all, at the end of the day, the sun is sparkling as it sets on the Bay."

The only thing I'll add in closing, is that I bet Izzy and Boomer enjoyed their romp on the beach. I'm wondering though, if they jumped in the frigid Lake Superior water? I hear it is only about 38° right now!

Those are groovy pictures:) (Ok, so I'm old) The Laughing Whitefish falls makes me smile. I think a tour of the UP looking at waterfalls would be a nice vacation.
