When Henry Sakari sent me today's photos of Bond Falls in Ontonagon County, he mentioned that it was overcast and rainy the day he snapped them and he also wondered if these falls have been featured already too often on the Pasty Cam. No, Henry, for those of us that love the U.P. Waterfalls and don't get the chance to visit them in person, there is no such thing as "too often".
Located a few miles east of Paulding, this waterfall is on the middle branch of the Ontonagon River. Henry managed to capture the usual shots of the falls from a number of different angles. I think my favorite is the third shot, with the water flowing by the trees so fast and foamy. It looks like you could walk right between those trees, put your hand in the flowage and feel the force of the water as it rushes by.

Excellent pix, but I knew it wasn't Houston...no cars floating downstream. We also have an office in Austin, but they managed to dodge the bullet.
