Recently, Joy Ziemnick and her husband Jim took a ride to the Porcupine Mountain State Park to check out Presque Isle River and Falls there.
What they found was some rushing water in the river and plenty going over the falls, too. Even though I really enjoy the shots of the flowing water, I think my favorite today, is the last one with Jim hiking down to the water's edge amongst the rocky banks. The height of the walls surrounding Jim, make him look quite small.
It is amazing to think that the rushing waters throughout the years have formed the rock beds and banks into what they are there today. More amazing feats performed by Mother Nature here UP North.

Beautiful pictures. Great looking falls and river. I can almost see the Brook Trout lurking beneath the surface just waiting for me.

These are terrific. I've been looking at waterfalls all weekend, and I have to say, these rival the ones I've been looking at. I love waterfalls!!!
