Liz Siivola shares these beautiful blooms, saying, "Spring at last on our street in Laurium. Seems like we waited a long time for it! If you live in Laurium or Calumet, spring does come a bit later than other parts of the Keweenaw, because the folks UP there in the higher elevation always get more snow on the ground, so of course it takes longer to melt away.
It sure is great to see these springtime flowers popping up all over, crocuses of many colors abound, like the ones Liz captured here. The purple flowers are called Glory of the Snow and I can see why. We all feel quite glorious when the snow is melted and beautiful purple flowers dot the ground.
Tulips are blooming, too and I even heard someone say their daffodils opened up in the last day or two. It sure is a pretty time of year with all the new growth starting all around us.

My crocuses did not appear this year. I wonder why! I really enjoyed the pictures today. Crocuses amaze me.
