Danielle Adams was out on the shores of Lake Superior in the Marquette area, trying out different settings on her camera when she snapped these ice chunk shots. Sure is nice to see the ice breaking up and doing that melting thing it does as the days get warmer.
What are your thoughts on the first photo of Danielle's here today? She thinks it looks like a humpback whale. I look at it and see several dolphins jumping and splashing in the waves. I think it will be interesting to see how many different perspectives we'll get on this Lake Superior ice sculpture.
The remaining photos were some ice floes that were getting splashed and knocked around by the waves. Nice captures of the water beads in midair, too. All that water washing over the tops of that ice has got to be melting them down that much quicker, right?

The first one is a picture of the Loch Superior monster. Known affectionately as Soupy. I've seen it before on a couple of different occasions. The Lake looks a lot different than it did last April 15th.

The first one looks like client folders sitting on my desk and waiting for 1040s. It's April 16th; do you know where your 1040 is? :-O
