Donna MacIntosh has been feeding the birds for a number of years, but I bet the reason they keep coming back to her feeder is because of the fancy perches she has for them to enjoy. Like that beautiful, blue flower and stars in the first photo. It sure looks like her Chickadee visitor is enjoying the pretty flower.
The rest of Donna's photos today, look to the sky! She shows off the bare branches in the Baraga area, which will be filled with blossoms before you know it, if the weather continues to warm up like it has been. I love the second shot, with the "morning moon". I've never really looked it up, so I'm hoping someone will know the reason for the moon showing up like this on some mornings, even after the sun has been up brightening the skies. Some days it's brighter than others, too.
My favorite of Donna's pictures here today, though, is the last one. I love the look of the white birch trees reaching up to the blue sky!

I really like that one, too, Mary. In answer to your question....I think it depends on the amount of haze in the air. The more haze there is, the more diffuse an object will appear in a photo.

Nice variety Donna! Our birch trees on the farm are budding.

My favorite is the third one too ~ I love birch trees. The first place we saw them in abundance was in the New England areas, especially Vermont. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos, Donna!
