Among the enterprises in the U.P. that have distinguished themselves worldwide is Keweenaw Gem & Gift in Houghton, the World’s Largest Supplier of Michigan Greenstone. If you follow their Facebook page you noticed they recently moved a few blocks, over on Razorback Drive across from the Rock House Grill. Their building design reflects the mining heritage of the region, and the spacious display areas are filled with gift items unique to the Copper Country and the U.P.

The Pasty Cam has stayed 'on the air' all these years with the help of our family of sponsors, which includes names like Keweenaw Gem & Gift, Vollwerth's, Finlandia University, Silverbear, Laurium Manor Inn, and many more. We appreciate their support and applaud their efforts to bring ever-increasing quality products and services to the region, along with employment for so many area residents. And thanks to the many visitors who stop in locally or shop online, because ultimately you're the ones who keep the wheels of the economy turning :o)

The best news as she has been recovering this weekend, is the absence of the previous phantom pain, which had been so severe. Edie passes along her thanks for your prayers and friendship. We will continue to provide updates on her Facebook page.

Congradulations to Ken and the folks at KG&G. I knew they were moving when I talked with Ken alst August. It looks like they "got er done". Can not wait to see it in person.

the shuttle to Walmart from MTU. Great job and

Thanks for updating us, Charlie. I went to her
facebook page, something I hadn't done before, and
read just how much is going on with her. That
poor woman. Will continue to pray for her
recovery. This has been going on for far too long
for all of you. Praying for your strength, also.

I do know this is the 18th of the month but, I just got my computer back from repairs and looking at past days of pasty-net.
