Here we are again, at the end of another month. We pause this day, to remember those friends and relatives that have passed on before us, including:

Our little Scottish Terrier Brody. Today he would have been 10.

It has been another long Winter without my sweet husband. And the first Winter without my little kitty. Miss them both so much!

It's been a year since 19 year old Kristina
passed due to a virus settling in her heart
which nobody knew about until it was too late.
Her family is still devastated. I pray every
day that her mom can start living again. Such a
terrible, senseless loss for them and for
everybody who knew this vivacious, live life to
the fullest, girl.

Also, always remembering everybody in my family
who has passed.

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephew “The Chief” Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto. We love and miss you all so much.

Remembering my brother Dennis, who passed 11 years ago after a battle he would not win. I think of him often and miss him even more. I can see him looking out over the vast ice in today's picture.

Remembering Sister Ingrid Luukkonen, Sister Agatha
Riehl, and Sister Claudia Riehl of the
Benedictine Monastery of St. Scholastica in Duluth,
Minnesota, all of whom died this past month. May they
rest in peace.

Remembering Grandpa, who passed on 50 years ago this month. He worked in the Oregon shipyards during WWI before meeting and marrying a Michigan girl who was a schoolmarm out there. They returned to Michigan to raise their family. He loved his kids and grandkids and was a wonderful Grandpa who left us too soon. Miss you Grandpa!

hard to do, but we all have to think of what's
happening on "the other side"....it's a party....a
homecoming, "Welcome Home" and "Well Done"....

Gramma said these to me a long time ago. It is sad when someone you know becomes someone you knew. Or sad when someone who helped you make memories becomes a memory.

It's been 22 years since I lost my grandmother on Valentine's Day, 1993. There still isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her and how much she influenced me to be the person I am today.......

Col., retired USAF, who died in late January.

Remembering my mom and best friend Carole Miller who went to her eternal home on February 9, 2024.

Correction, my mom passed in 2014.

Grieving for our special daughter-in-law of 30
years, mother of 2 of our grandchildren &
grandmother of our 2 great grandchildren.
Nancy Frazho Emmons left us Feb.2 this year at only
47 years age of severe complications of illness.
Such an outgoing happy go lucky personality taken
from us so early. ---Our Nancy "with the Smiling
Face" !
