Bob Gilreath was at one of the recent Michigan Tech Women's Basketball games against Northwood College and snapped a few interesting photos to share.
Check out the MTU Pep band in the stands during a Northwood player's free throw attempt. Just a little bit of a distraction there and Bob said the player missed both shots. I'm not saying the band played a part in that, but whatever works.
Bob's second photo is MTU player, Kenzie Perttu driving the ball down the court, looking pretty confident and powerful. Speaking of power, in the third photo, that's MTU's Dani Blake successfully blocking a pass by the Northwood player. Bob said that she had a team, record tying, seven blocks this game.
The last photo was funnily captioned by Bob with, Leapfrog Anyone? It certainly seems like the Northwood player is getting ready to leapfrog over the MTU player and the Northwood player who's on her knees cradling the ball. Sure looks like there is plenty of lively action at the Tech Women's basketball games.

I always get tickled at those baggy shorts ~ a big difference from when I was in school ~ eons ago. Nice action shots, Bob!

Nice pix and distraction technique, although that ball looks under-inflated by two pounds. :-)
