Oh, just one minor trick: If you write it
like so: \char{128521}
you get this
result: 😉
or
like so: \b{\char{128521}}
to get it in bold
result: 😉

FRNash, I honestly have no idea what you're talking
about, lol. I really don't know where the numbers
came from. I must have been doing something, but I
don't know what. Geez, it's hard getting older :-)

The best way to understand it is just to try it, like this:
1. Copy the following line of text (or this whole message):
\char{128521}
2. Paste it in the Add a Message box below.
3. Enter your Username and Password in the applicable boxes.
4. Click the Preview/Post Message button.
Examine the resulting message, you should see the 'smiley'.
5. Cancel or Post the message, as you wish.
