The snow keeps falling and piling up here in the Keweenaw, so today's Pasty Camist, Judy Byykkonen had some helpers come to shovel off her sauna roof and a few helpers that just had fun in the snow.
Judy's son and grandson were the workers and her granddaughter and dogs were the fun lovers. By the looks of the smile on her grandson's face in the third photo, along with the "thumbs up" gesture, I'd say that he didn't mind the shoveling job at all. Nice that he was happy to help grandma and smile while doing so.
Judy's granddaughter was bundled up quite well, against the cold wind that day and with all the moving around she did on sleds and snow-tubes, she kept herself warm, too. She was a busy little girl, having fun while Daddy and big brother got the jobs done.
The other ones there enjoying, rather than shoveling, were two of Judy's four-legged friends. They were outside with their tennis balls and didn't care who, what or where the shoveling was going on, they just wanted to have fun chasing and fetching those bright, yellow balls. Good thing they're such a bold color, so they can be found even if they go into a pile of snow.
So all in all, whether working or playing…everyone got their exercise outside in the fresh and frigid U.P. air this day!
