An Easter Morn
Upon the sunrise
of an Easter morn;
I felt the sunshine in my face,
Knew then that Jesus has risen from a dark and dismal place.
When on the week before,
He cried, "...have mercy unkind ones and sin no more!"
How the people taunted, pushed Him,
spit on Him, and gall for Him to drink,
Little did they know nor remember
and gave it thought to think.
Oh yes. He arose to tell His truthful story,
I am Lord, hosana in the highest,
with all my love for you in glory.
Do not be afraid my people,
God gives you all His love to share some day in heaven up above,
For you all will know, it is a sign given out of love.
Remember sinners one and all, Jesus has given us a lift.
He is our Savior and truly He is our Gift.
