A great view of the village, probably from the mid-30s. The density of the business district is very impressive, something hard to imagine today.
The new Washington School, built 1929, is present in the upper left. You can also see the Calumet #2 shaft plus many of the C&H buildings.
The original layout of Agassiz Park is clearly evident.
5th, 6th and 7th Streets are all in view, with Pine running horizontally along the bottom.
