Policies

Reservations:

Reservations are made on a 1st come first serve basis.

We are limited in our rentals, so please reserve early.

2 night min. stay over week-ends & 3 night min. stay over holidays and/or

special events.

A check or money order for 10% (non-refundable / non-transferable) deposit guarantees your unit. 

The deposit should be received within 7-10 days of booking.  After that you may forfeit your reservation.  A Visa or Master Card number is required to hold your reservation until your deposit is received.  Confirmations will be made after

your deposit has been received. 

Balance due in full,  at time of check-in or the following morning if you

requested a late check-in. No refunds for early check outs.

Cancellation Policy

Summer cancellation must be received no less than 1 month prior to the date

of arrival, for a refund less your 10% non-refundable / non- transferable deposit. 

If made less than 1 month prior to the date of arrival you will be charged for your week of rental (in full), unless we can fill your vacancy.                                                                         

 Sorry no refunds for early departure.

Winter cancellation must be received no less than 3 weeks prior to the date of arrival, for a refund less your 10% non-refundable / non-transferable deposit.

If  made in less than the 3 week period you will be charged (in full) unless we can fill you vacancy.

During Special events, MTU Winter Carnival, MTU Graduation, Mardi Gras, & Special Holidays, there may be different cancellation policies.  Please inquire.

We have no control over the weather, personal plans and/or misfortunes; thus these are not sufficient reason for refund.

However we may make exceptions to the above policies due to poor snow conditions (based on our discretions) or during low occupancy periods

 *Management reserves the right to charge renters for any missing or damaged Items

Pets:

Pets are welcome at LLBL as long as they do not disturb others.

  Pets must be leashed at all times & attended or crated. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet. You are also responsible for your pet’s actions, including damages and/or injuries to other. 

There is a $25.00 per stay fee/cabin for pets in our lodging units. If your pet is in a cabin other than your own cabin a charge of $ 25.00 will be needed to cover the other cabin also.

     Please cover or keep pets off furniture.

Visitors:

Visitors in rental unit limits. Those who stay later than 1:00 am will be considered an overnight guest and renter will be required to pay any additional guest fees.

Please be considerate to our locals, neighbor’s and their property. They love our visitors but they live here and are not on vacation.

Lodging - Sorry no early check-ins or late check outs.

Check- In 3.00 pm EST

Check- Out 11:00 am EST                                                     

No Towels Provided

If you forget yours we may have some available, for a charge of $5.00 per set. Check in the lodge store/office.
