The Finnish-style smörgåsbord (seisovapöytä) draws its flavors from the sea, the forest, lakes and fields. Besides fresh fish and meats , a variety of salads, cheeses and robust breads grace a well-thought-out table — a pleasure to the eye, as well as the appetite.

Table 1 - One begins with the cold table, where a variety of wholesome breads and local fish are prepared in a variety of ways. Select a beverage, find a seat and enjoy!

Table 2 - The second table consists hot casseroles (laatikot), Finnish meatballs, a holiday ham and Karjalan paisti (beef & pork ragout).

Table 3 - The crown of a splendid meal is a delicious ilmapuuro (cranberry whip) or a wedge of locally-made leipäjuustoa (squeaky cheese) with a full-bodied cup of Presidentti coffee from Finland.
