This page is only linked from email notes to purchasers of our pasties.  Our primary purpose in creating Pasty Central was twofold: 
1. To make available to the rest of North America a very delicious specialty food which we have been enjoying for many years.
2. To give our elderly residents the chance to take part in an activity which is meaningful to others.

We operate Pasty Central so that its own costs may be covered, with any marginal income used to assist in the operation of this Home for the Aged. 

We are often asked about donations toward the home. Still Waters is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization. Our 70 bed facility was built with a low interest loan and furnished through the donations of friends and businesses in our area. Tax deductible gifts received by Still Waters are an important part of our continued operation.
