Yesterday driving to Houghton from Calumet, my wife and I noticed that the color near the airport/Boston area came in waves of red and orange. We often remark "There's a good Pasty Cam shot!"

Fortunately, Steve Brimm noticed the color, too, and captured a little of it to share with all of us.

I love it! So beautiful, especially when in Florida. Saved this one for wallpaper. I've heard from a couple of people up there that the leaves weren't going to be very pretty this year because there wasn't enough rain and that early cold spell.....looks like Mother Nature has proven them wrong. Thank you so much.

This picture took my breath away. I just saved the old house as wallpaper but I must have this one. Fortunately I have another computer. As Ellen said, we need these pictues especially here in Florida. Although the last couple of evening have been really nice here so I guess I have nothing to complain about. Both my husband and I miss the fall color. Next year we will make it north again and maybe stay until the snow is ready to fly. Meanwhile I will get my color fix from your website, which, in truth, I think of as my special website. I check it out every morning and if I go on the computer in the afternoon or evening I check it again. I am happily hooked.

Way to go, Steve! Just got back from a Keweenaw Weekender and the colors were terrific. Hope to contribute the best pic my camera caught soon for Pasty Cam.
