Retreat in the woods

By
Charlie at Pasty Central on Sunday, September 3, 2000 - 05:47 pm:

A crowd of birch trees and ferns surround the marker which announces your arrival at Sunset Bay RV Resort and Campground - a cozy hideaway tucked in by the Lake on 5 Mile Point Road. Ever wonder why they call it Sunset Bay? See for yourself.

Now in our 6th year on the Internet here in the U.P., one of the dimensions of Pasty Central which continues to grow is our www hosting service. Many of the more popular domain names found in the region, make their home right here at Pasty Central. We send a big 'Thank You' to all of those sponsors like Sunset Bay, whose support enables us to continue bringing you the Pasty Cam.

5 Mile Point Rd. also leads to the Sand Hills Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast run by Bill and Mary. Spent a most wonderful weekend there. Wonderful hospitality, unmatched beauty. A weekend I still hold dear to my heart.

Somebody is doing some awesome signpainting! This one and the Bed & Breakfast ones are truly works of art. My compliments to the signpainters!
