What a wonderful treat this site is. The link was given to me by a friend at work. I enjoyed the photo of the old church near Redridge. I have wanted that building for so long. I recognized it in seconds. Anyway I appreciated the memory reminders. Thanks

Yes...my boyfriend spent the day in Ishpeming, picking thimbleberries down by Teal Lake. Just days (and a long drive) away from Thimbleberry jam! Life is good!

Watch out Katie! I too, have wanted that building for a long time:)
It's a shame it has been allowed to deteriorate to such an awful state! It's such a beautiful building in a very beautiful place.

My family goes to Redridge every summer and that church is beautiful. I have never been in it since it is falling apart. Ijust dont want to see it destroyed.

You are so right. I hate to see it destroyed also but I dont know how we can prevent it. Somebody was supposed to have bought it several years ago but let it go to ruin. Sad situation.
