This falls into the category "see the deer in this picture?". It was a long shot, 300 feet below the Lake of the Clouds Escarpment. The deer was taking a quick drink and browse through the marsh of the Big Carp River.

Always beautiful pictures. Eventhough deer are presently standing in my back wooded yard, it is not the same as being "up there". Especially since we live half way between Lansing and Grand Rapids. We try to fool ourselves into thinking we are out in a peaceful setting!! We are soon on our way north for several weeks!
