Back at the beginning of May, Ken from da' U.P. commented on a shot from Eagle River, and asked about the old Tioga pilot house, which is still used as an interesting shed.

What a glorious month May has been! But tonight around sunset as we walked down Five Mile Point Road, it looks like the party may be over. Black flies are back :o(

Hei, Charlie, Kittos oikean paljon for the Tioga picture. Back in the late 50s it belonged to the grandfather of a friend. We stayed at the camp overnight different times, had cold coffee and dried cake for breakfast, went swimming in cold Lake Superior. 'Course we were much younger then. Walked the beach and rocks from 5 Mile Pt to Jacobs Creek. Took most of the day. Was past Still Waters last Thursday, really tempted to stop in and say "HI!" Wondered if you would've been there? Maybe next time. Thanx again.
