Yooper in Iraq, A big Thank You to you, and all of your buddies serving over there. You should feel great pride from Saddam's capture, and for serving your country. We are proud of you all.
You mentioned the beautiful sunsets...what temps are you having there now?
You are all in our thoughts daily, especially during the holiday season.

By Thomas Wilcox, Chassell, MI on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 07:33 pm:

Bush and his foreign policies has done more to alienate formerly friendly Arabs to the cause of bin Laden. Saddam Hussein captured- big deal! I though the dreaded Weapons of Mass Destruction were the reason for the invasion? Where are the WMD and where is bin Laden?
Iraq was as serious a threat to the United States as was Iceland. Talk about diversionary tactics- kill Iraqi civilians(15 children last week, destroy a country's infrastructure all the while allowing the true enemy to regroup and gather supporters. Bush should be impeached! He WILL be voted out in 2004!

To T. Wilcox of Chassell: Whew!!! Chill out puleeez!!!!

"We are celebrating like it's a wedding," said Kirkuk resident Mustapha Sheriff. "We are finally rid of that criminal."

"This is the joy of a lifetime," said Ali Al-Bashiri, another resident. "I am speaking on behalf of all the people that suffered under his rule."
Friendly Arabs, what a crock, Rember 9-11-2002

Be as indignant as you wish, Thomas Wilcox, that is everyone's right in this country. However, get your facts straight--the children were not killed in Iraq.

By steve ristola, mn on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 08:42 pm:

Hey Thomas,
take a chill pill. The war in Iraq is a long hard road.Another speed bump in the road to freedom was eliminated today.I'm sorry if you do not care for that result...but the majority of us do.go ahead and vote for dean if you want to...that is your right in this country.....otherwise..god bless America and our president.Just enjoy the fact that another milepost in the war against terrorism has been reached.........

By steve ristola, mn on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 08:46 pm:

P.S thomas.....care to wager on your prediction on G.W. Bush being voted out in 2004?Otherwise......be quiet......please....go to CNN and post away with the small minority that might agree with you......

By Evelyn, Murphys, CA. on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 09:28 pm:

Thanks ...God Bless you all...
