Almost 1700 photos now in our Guest Gallery, introduced earlier this month. Donn de Yampert has provided quite a few in several topical albums. This morning with a hot cup of tea I sat back and enjoyed his Landscape slide show. This view of Victoria Dam Falls caps off a week when we spotlighted Ontonagon, which is also the name of the river.

Looks like we're in for a warm, muggy day in the U.P. Haven't had too many of those this summer, here on the shore of such a huge natural air conditioner.

Good Morning Charlie and friends,
Pasty.com is such a delight. Award winning photos daily, and with the addition of the guest photo gallery, this is one of the best web sites on the net. Any way we can nominate Pasty.com for award?

Thank you for all the great work you do.

Nice pic of some nice little falls. But what's that concrete doing up there? (Or whatever it is?)

That water sure looks refreshing to me today.

In reality, the falls you see is a spillway for the Victoria Dam on the right. The picture is taken a little after Spring Thaw so much water is flowing over the spillway. Yes, that water probably would be a good idea on a day like today, refreshing, refreshing.
Regards,
Donn
