As I been seein the sights across the U.S., I'm reminded that some of the best are waiting for me right back home in the good ole U.P. Tonight the photo inbox snagged this message:
Just thought I would pass these to you. I shot them Friday and Saturday at Hungarian falls in Tamarack City. With the warm temperatures the water really is flowing. Still quite a lot of snow in the woods and on the banks of the river which made for some interesting climbing. I really enjoy your site. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, Sean, and welcome to the growing army of Pasty Camists. Looks like a WOW to me.
Over the weekend I sailed the old beater like a prairie schooner through Kansas and on to Missouri. Do you know, I never realized before that the Kansas City Royals are not from Kansas?? Did you hear - - they are off to an season-opening winning streak of nine games, the best start of any team in 13 years. They finally fell to Cleveland on Sunday.
Good night from Missouri and good morning from da U.P. trip notes
