Donn de Yampert and Joe Kirkish trudged through 3 feet of snow to get a winter view of this litte pond, which appeared on the Pasty Cam last Spring. That first photo was selected by our visitors as a favorite, and included in the 2003 Pasty Cam Calendar. By the way, there are still a few of the calendars left, so be sure to include one in your Valentine's Day pasty order. (A couple of fudgy pasties would be a sweet addition, too.)

Donn has put a collection of pictures on his website, including some from each season.

I just wanted to reply to "el" who wanted to say "HI" to Addison. Yes, he knew who you were and
got a chuckle out of the fact that I received a message from you.

As Charlie said in yesterday's photo, the world seems to be in black and white. Even the green of the evergreens is nearly black. Stunning. I hope Donn and Joe were wearing their snowshoes for the tromp. Thanks for the photo.

Donn and Joe, thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU! for making that trek! Mother Nature is amazing, providing beauty in so many guises. This scene looks so serence in its coating of white, with only a hint of the texture beneath. And Donn, your galleries are superb! I hadn't realized how many of my favorite PastyCam pictures were yours.

Marquette photographers, What dose Harlows wooden man look like in the winter. I saw it in the summer but I sure would like to see him with show around over him. That is if you can find him.

Hey Mr. No-Snow, er.... I mean Alex. (sorry, couldn't resist)

This place isn't far from my house. Your family and I are going to have to try to get together some afternoon when you are UP there this summer. Maybe we will get lucky and get a good beach day. pegg
