We received a whole bunch of holiday shots over the Christmas break, including Cordell and his chocolate piggy bank, emailed by his Aunt Karla. Karla also does a very informative trail report for snowmobilers in the Copper Country, over on Evert's website.

The second shot is one of my favorites from the archives, which Jonathan took a few January's ago up on Bumbletown hill. Looks like we had a little more snow that year.

Wishing that was me on that sled!

I'm sure there's some bank out there who would love to have Cordell as their poster boy for attracting new savings accounts. Instead of toasters they could give away chocolate filled piggy banks.

Great sunset, too.

Here's a news flash: it's snowing right now at Eagle River. Haven't seen that in a while.

We are Pasty.net subscribers, and it was great fun to see our grandson, Cordell Hext, smiling at us on the computer screen. It was especially nice since he lives in Bristol, Wisconsin.

Hey, thats my kid! Anyone who knows Cordell knows he loves his "big money"! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Korpela for the "Best Christmas Gift Ever"!
